Named after one of the old city gates, Sahara Darwaja sits at the busiest end of the Ring Road textile belt. Markets and trading buildings around it include Surat Textile Market, Ashoka Tower, JJ AC Textile Market, Abhinandan and many more.
It is often spelled "Sahara Darwaza" or called "Sahara Gate". Traffic is heavy from late morning, so arrive early.
