Which months are best to buy wholesale from Jaipur's textile markets?

Short answer

Visit in February–April for summer 60x60 cotton kurtis and Sanganeri prints; May–July for Monsoon Teej/Rakhi Leheriya collections; and August–October for festive Gota-Patti, bridal lehengas, and winter Jaipuri razais.

Jaipur's textile calendar has three major seasonal peaks:

  • Summer Cotton Wave (Feb–May): Peak production of 60x60 cotton kurtis, mulmul suits, and AC dohars.
  • Monsoon Sawan / Teej Wave (May–July): Peak dispatch of Leheriya sarees, Bandhej suits, and festive sets ahead of Teej and Raksha Bandhan.
  • Festive, Wedding & Winter Wave (Aug–Dec): Peak season for Gota-Patti bridal wear, Rajputi poshaks, quilted jackets, and winter Jaipuri razais.
