Jaipur: Where Artisanal Crafts Meet High-Volume Garmenting
Jaipur is one of India's most dynamic textile centres, combining centuries-old artisanal craft techniques with industrial garment stitching units.
The South Belt (Garmenting & Craft Engines)
- Sanganer: Renowned for GI-tagged hand-block printing using carved teakwood blocks in Chhipa Mohalla, as well as industrial flat-bed screen printing along Diggi Road for 60x60 cotton cambric.
- Sitapura & Pratap Nagar: Jaipur's major industrial kurti corridor. EPIP (Export Promotion Industrial Park) and Sitapura G-Zone house large export units, while Pratap Nagar houses hundreds of walk-in kurti stitching units producing 3-piece sets and Anarkalis.
- Bagru: Located 25 km west along NH-48, world-famous for Dabu (mud-resist) printing and natural indigo dyeing.
The Walled City & Northern Commercial Bazaars
- Purohit Ji Ka Katla & Johari Bazaar: The bustling wholesale hub for sarees, bridal lehengas, Gota-Patti work, and Bandhej/Leheriya odhnis.
- Sikar House: The primary commercial wholesale hub for readymade cotton kurtis, daily-wear suit sets, and pant pairs sold in 4-piece size ratios (M–XXL).
- Jhotwara & Khatipura: Rajasthan's #1 hub for traditional Rajputi poshaks (4-piece royal dresses), Bikaneri cotton suits, and Tari-Aari magzi work.
Find suppliers in Rajasthan's markets through the textile market directory or check applicable slabs in the textile GST finder.
