Speak the language of the wholesale market
Wholesalers, weavers and process houses use a short vocabulary that new buyers often find confusing. GSM tells you how heavy a fabric is. Greige (grey) fabric is cloth straight off the loom. MOQ is the smallest order a seller accepts. A dye lot is one batch of colour, and shades can differ between lots.
Knowing these terms helps you compare quotes, avoid colour mismatches and write clear product descriptions for your own customers.
